The support provided by artificial intelligence when working with documents in the digital workplace offers numerous advantages. For example, AI provides automatically generated summaries at the touch of a button, which are ideal for providing information quickly, for example as a management summary. Users can ask questions about the content of documents and request translations via intuitive chat. This drastically simplifies content-related work with documents.

Modern user experience with the Dynamic Workspace

With the individually configurable Dynamic Workspace, windream 9 offers a modern design for a user-friendly and clear interface on all end devices. Version 9 offers an even more intuitive navigation as well as extended customization options, which provide additional clarity and more individual settings. A favorites function makes it possible to mark documents or files as favorites for faster access. In addition, enhanced collaboration functions have been introduced so that chats are now also available for folders and files. There are also new options for sending emails, such as a template selection.

More performance and security

The new windream 9 basic system offers an even better performance by implementing the unique VFS-X technology also for share drives. VFS-X as a virtual file system allows users to save and edit documents in a windream drive in exactly the same way as in a normal network drive under Windows and also maps the required ECM functions in the Windows Explorer. This is a great advantage for users, as they can stay in their familiar working environment without having to get used to new tools or user interfaces. This not only increases productivity, but also considerably simplifies the integration of ECM functions into the daily work routine. windream 9 now also supports Microsoft Entra ID for secure authentication.

Artificial intelligence as a key technology

With the introduction of AI functions, windream 9 reaches an important milestone in the further development of the DMS system. At the same time, it marks the beginning of a more comprehensive integration of artificial intelligence into the product range and emphasizes the strategic relevance of this technology for future developments.
