Heilbronn, February 17, 2025 – dataglobal Group, visionary developer of the Data City approach for the Digital Workplace, announces the appointment of Patrick Schumacher as new Vice President Sales. With his extensive experience of more than twelve years in sales management and product development, Patrick Schumacher will shape and drive the company’s sales strategy and support the Group’s sales teams in their joint successes.

Within the dataglobal Group, Schumacher will be responsible for sales for the entire group, which was formed from the merger of four successful companies. The new windream 9 basic system offers an even better performance by implementing the unique VFS-X technology also for share drives. VFS-X as a virtual file system allows users to save and edit documents in a windream drive in exactly the same way as in a normal network drive under Windows and also maps the required ECM functions in the Windows Explorer. This is a great advantage for users, as they can stay in their familiar working environment without having to get used to new tools or user interfaces. This not only increases productivity, but also considerably simplifies the integration of ECM functions into the daily work routine. windream 9 now also supports Microsoft Entra ID for secure authentication.
