dataglobal Group is significantly expanding the possibilities for business process management in the Data City approach enabling customers to digitalise business processes efficiently and easily and benefit from significant cost reductions more quickly.

Heilbronn, 14 April 2025 – The dataglobal Group announces the general availability of version 9 of its Business Process Management (BPM) solution enabling companies, administrations and other organisations to model their processes digitally, edit them intuitively and execute them efficiently with software support. Typical areas of application include account payable and travel expense processing, vacation requests, general document control and purchase requisitions. Business Process Management makes it possible to quickly digitalise and automate all relevant business processes – end-to-end and integrated into the dataglobal Group’s holistic data city approach.

dataglobal Group makes process digitalisation easy with windream BPM

The Data City products form a modern digital workplace and enable efficient and secure hybrid working from anywhere. With end-to-end digital processes, they ensure efficiency, security and compliance as well as improved collaboration in projects – even across company boundaries. windream BPM is the key to automation, which shortens process runtimes, minimises manual errors and ensures consistently high quality resulting in higher customer satisfaction at significantly lower costs.

Graphic Designer and Smart Robots allow simple workflow creation

windream BPM offers a decisive advantage to companies that make slow progress in digitisation due to lacking sufficient staff with in-depth IT knowledge. With the BPM Designer, recurring business processes can be modelled on the basis of an easy and intuitive graphical user interface – even without in-depth programming knowledge using the low-code method. The BPM Designer optimally supports the business user in transferring the relevant business processes into electronic workflows.

In line with the dataglobal Group’s Data City approach, digitisation is thus moving much closer to the business departments, which can therefore contribute their process knowledge efficiently. windream BPM 9 is, thus, a highly flexible solution for the specific requirements of companies and their business.

For the technical implementation of the workflows, windream BPM 9 offers so-called Smart Robots. They are available for the automation of server-side tasks such as email dispatch or data exchange with third-party applications such as CRM, ERP and HR systems. They are also used for the interaction of process management with other components of the Data City infrastructure and take over the postponed indexing of documents in document management, for example. Freed from programming effort, customers save valuable time in workflow design and also minimise the usual testing and implementation effort.

Version 9 brings many improvements for users and in the backend

Version 9 brings a number of other improvements. For example, support through profiles makes it possible to process several workflow jobs simultaneously, which means a considerable increase in productivity for all workflow users. The multi-level escalations, which can be set individually for each workflow step, are just as flexible. They make it possible to react to missed deadlines – the impending disadvantages of a missed deadline, such as cash discount losses, are now a thing of the past. With the new ad-hoc workflows, users can spontaneously define and customise individual workflows based on prepared templates – including the sequence of steps, responsibilities and deadlines – without in-depth knowledge of workflow design.

Thanks to multithreading in system steps, processes can be executed even faster and more effectively, and the new server configuration tool makes managing and configuring the system much easier. In addition, windream BPM 9 supports PostgreSQL 17.2 as another mature and high-performance open-source database. These new performance features and many improvements in detail ensure that the latest version 9 of the BPM solution is a real game changer.

Integrated into the holistic Data City concept

windream BPM 9 plays a decisive role in the Data City as the backbone of process digitisation and optimisation. It ensures that processes function efficiently, smoothly and in a coordinated manner. “A basic idea of the Data City is to bring people together with the required information and processes in the right context so that they can work highly productively, efficiently, securely and independently of location. windream BPM creates the basis for the automation of routine tasks and the structuring of complex processes. Version 9 of our BPM solution makes this even easier for our customers,” says Nicolas Schwarzpaul, CEO of the dataglobal Group.

BEM software: Successful reintegration of employees

BEM software: Successful reintegration of employees
Arrow
  • News

In today’s working world, companies not only face economic challenges, but also the responsibility to provide their employees with the best possible support. Especially in the event of illness, it is important to systematically and sustainably reintegrate those affected back into the work process. This is where company integration management (BEM) comes in, which is mandatory according to §167 SGB IX.

With specialized BEM software , these processes can be mapped efficiently and in compliance with the law. But how exactly can a software solution help companies to successfully reintegrate employees?

The importance of a structured BEM process

BEM is not only a legal requirement, but also offers very specific benefits for companies and their employees. Structured reintegration can help,

  • avoid long-term downtime,
  • restore their ability to work and thus
  • ensure productivity in the company.

For employees, a systematic BEM process means support in returning to work and individual measures to adapt the workplace or working conditions.

BEM Software

How BEM software optimizes the process

Manual management of the BEM process can be time-consuming and error-prone. A digital solution, on the other hand, makes it possible to carry out the entire process in a structured and automated manner. Companies benefit from several advantages:

  • Legal certainty: All measures and decisions are documented in an audit-proof manner to avoid disputes.
  • Flexible authorization concept: Clear access rights ensure data protection.
  • Automated processes: BEM processes are controlled efficiently and comprehensibly.
  • Integration of relevant stakeholder groups: The works council, representatives for severely disabled employees and other stakeholders can be involved in a targeted manner.

Core functions of BEM software

1. digital documentation and management

BEM software enables barrier-free, structured documentation of BEM cases. All relevant documents, forms and emails are stored and managed centrally in the digital personnel file.

2. automatic identification of BEM beneficiaries

Thanks to the connection to time recording systems such as SAP HCM, Sage or Datev, potential BEM cases can be determined automatically. As soon as an employee has been off sick for more than six weeks within a year, a list of suggestions is generated.

3. efficient deadline and task management

From the creation of automated invitations for BEM meetings to scheduling and task distribution – the BEM software supports the entire process. Reminders and resubmissions ensure that no important steps are missed.

4. simple integration of all parties involved

The software can be used to integrate company doctors, HR managers, works councils or the representative body for severely disabled employees into the process in a targeted and secure manner.

5. scalability and integration

Analyses and reports help to monitor the success of the measures and make adjustments if necessary. Integration with Excel and other BI tools enables detailed reporting.

Why companies should rely on vysoft BEM

A professional BEM is not only a legal obligation, but also a decisive factor for a sustainable HR strategy. With vysoft BEM, companies can digitally map the entire process, make it more efficient and thus ensure the successful reintegration of their employees.

Seamless integration into existing HR and time recording systems as well as flexible operating models (cloud or on-premises) make vysoft BEM the ideal solution for modern company integration management.

What’s more, the software is easy to integrate into your familiar Microsoft 365 environment – so you and your employees don’t have to get used to it or undergo time-consuming training.

Additional advantages of vysoft BEM

In addition to increasing efficiency and legal certainty, vysoft BEM also supports companies in positively influencing their corporate culture. A well-organized BEM shows that the company actively cares about the health of its employees. This can significantly increase employee satisfaction and loyalty.

The software also helps to identify patterns in absenteeism through targeted analyses. This allows companies to react to problematic developments at an early stage and take preventative measures. For example, ergonomic adjustments in the workplace or targeted health promotion programs can help to reduce long-term incapacity to work.

Another plus point is the reduction in workload for the HR department. The automation of many administrative processes leaves more time for individual employee support. This not only reduces the workload, but also increases the quality of reintegration measures.

Conclusion

By using specialized BEM software, companies can not only meet legal requirements, but also promote the long-term health and productivity of their employees. With vysoft BEM, reintegration is simple, efficient and safe.

Phishing Mail Report April 2025

Phishing Mail Report April 2025
Arrow
  • News

In April 2025, numerous fraudulent emails targeting your personal data are once again circulating on the internet. Cyber criminals disguise themselves as well-known organizations in order to gain the trust of recipients.

In this article, we take a look at the most conspicuous phishing campaigns of the month and give you valuable tips on how to detect and protect yourself against such attacks. As always, this report is based on the latest findings from the eleven Detection Lab of the dataglobal Group.

Particularly widespread phishing campaigns in April 2025:

  • ADAC
  • Meta
  • AOK

1) Fake ADAC e-mails

Here, alleged unusual activity on the ADAC account is used as a pretext to persuade recipients to click on a link. The deceptively genuine design of the emails with ADAC colors and logos makes this scam look particularly authentic.

2) Phishing attack on Meta Ads customers

Corporate customers of Meta/Facebook Ads have been particularly affected by phishing attacks this month. The cybercriminals claim that there has been a breach of copyright in order to trick users into entering their login details on a fake website. The aim is to gain undetected access to the affected accounts.

Meta Phishing 1 April 2025

When you click on the link, you are redirected to the following website after a short “Facebook/Meta” intro animation:

Meta Phishing 2 April 2025

It is about an alleged complaint that is said to have led to the Meta Ads account being blocked. The user is then asked to fill in the form:

META Phishing 3 April 2025

After entering this data, you will also be asked for the account password:

3) AOK phishing remains active

This scam, which has already appeared in previous weeks, remains active. The attackers are copying the appearance of the Allgemeine Ortskrankenkasse (AOK) health insurance fund in order to persuade users to disclose sensitive information. The colors, logos and design of the real AOK communication are deliberately imitated.

4) Further attempts at fraud

In addition to the campaigns already mentioned, masses of bogus e-mails continue to appear posing as messages from the following companies:

  • 1and1
  • Amazon
  • DKB Bank
  • ING
  • Netflix
  • Paypal

How to recognize phishing emails

Phishing e-mails usually have typical characteristics that help to identify them as scams. Look out for the following warning signals:

  • Linguistic errors: As a rule, companies attach great importance to correct spelling. Incorrect texts are often an indication of attempted fraud.
  • Conspicuous links: Before clicking on a link, move the mouse over it to display the actual target address. These are often manipulated URLs.
  • General form of address: Official companies usually address their customers by name. Phrases such as “Dear customer” indicate phishing.
  • Pressure and threats: Emails claiming that urgent action is required or threatening consequences if you do not respond immediately are often fraudulent.
