The eXpurgate Core Engine uses a variety of technologies such as fingerprinting and hashes to categorize emails. The so-called “bulk check” distinguishes between individual communication and mass emails. Intelligent algorithms minimize data exchange with the eleven Intelligence Hub without sacrificing the best detection performance.
The eXpurgate Core Engine classifies emails into over 15 different categories – this allows granular handling according to individual requirements. This means you are optimally protected against unwanted or dangerous e-mails.

Using the eXampler API, you can create false positive/false negative reports via an HTTPS-based interface and query the processing status. The API simplifies integration into your existing workflows and processes.
API – eXplained API
Each e-mail processed by eXpurgate receives a unique ID, the so-called eXpurgate ID. This ID can be used to determine further details about the cause of a classification using the eXplainID API. In addition, it is checked whether this classification has changed in the meantime. The API is a useful addition for efficient false positive/false negative reporting.
