Extensive management experience in the industry

As CEO, Schwarzpaul most recently led GEDAT, a manufacturer of software for personnel service providers, to operational excellence, sustainable growth and cloud business. Prior to this, he successfully worked in the management of P&I AG in Wiesbaden as sales manager and managing director of a subsidiary. Schwarzpaul therefore also has extensive experience in merging companies into new structures.

“I am passionate about leading the dataglobal Group with a clear focus and innovative solutions to achieve its goals. We want to become a leading provider on the European market for digital workplace solutions. It is important to me to take the people in the company with me, to inspire them and to promote their professional development,” says Schwarzpaul, describing his motivation.

Potential recognized

Under the motto “The World is Your Workplace”, the dataglobal Group from Heilbronn stands for high-performance software solutions for the digital workplace as a driver of digital transformation. It combines established solutions for Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Business Process Management (BPM) as well as resource management and mail security into a holistic, innovative approach. The dataglobal Group was formed from the merger of four successful companies. The well-known product brands include dataglobal CS, eXpurgate, windream and vysoft.

“With its broadly established products and thousands of customers, the dataglobal Group has enormous potential in the digital workplace sector. By combining our products and skills, we can work with our partners to implement many new solutions that put use cases into practice,” says Schwarzpaul, outlining the further expansion of the portfolio – organically and through targeted acquisitions.

One example of this development is the acquisition of vykon, which was announced in May and adds a whole new facet to the concept of the digital workplace with its resource management solutions. The vysoft solutions enable sustainable and resource-saving management of office workstations, meeting rooms, parking spaces and much more, thus building a bridge from the digital to the analog world.
