Heilbronn/Berlin, August 13, 2024 – The dataglobal Group, a leading provider of solutions for the digital workplace, is exhibiting for the first time at the IT security trade fair it-sa in Nuremberg.
The dataglobal Group will be presenting an integrated, multi-level security concept for the reliable protection of company data that accompanies information through all stages of its life cycle.
The company is thus providing the right answers to current trend topics – from the DORA directive on digital infrastructure to the NIS2 directive for cyber security in companies and the e-invoicing obligation from 2025.
Triad of defense, awareness and archiving
The security concept for the digital workplace consists of the triad of defense, awareness and archiving.
The concept combines secure filtering of external content such as emails for cyber threats with continuously promoted user awareness and the secure archiving and versioning of communication and documents.
The combination of email security, awareness training and archiving minimizes the risk and possibly the consequences of cyberattacks, especially ransomware, particularly effectively.
At the dataglobal Group stand, the appropriate “Secure Packages” will be presented, with which user companies are able to generate very specific or even fully comprehensive protection against cyberattacks.
Mail Security “Made in Germany”
With the eXpurgate mail security gateway, the dataglobal Group offers very good technical protection against spam and phishing.
The email security solution, which protects around one billion emails a day and therefore more than half of the private email volume in Germany, detects potential threats at an early stage as it checks incoming emails before they enter the company’s infrastructure.
In this way, eXpurate – on premises or as a cloud service – effectively protects mail servers and users from spam, phishing or business email compromise (BEC) using state-of-the-art technology.
Awareness training with SoSafe
The second component focuses in particular on the rapidly increasing and increasingly sophisticated attacks using social engineering, in which attackers use publicly available background information to entice employees to disclose access data (phishing) or carry out certain activities (e.g. financial transactions, CEO fraud) with highly individualized attacks.
Security awareness training from SoSafe – a partner of the dataglobal Group – aims to sensitize people to digital dangers and teach them safe behavior.
SoSafe’s security awareness training perfectly complements eXpurgate’s technological approach.
Archiving reduces dependency and creates additional security
If the digital workplace is based exclusively on one provider for cloud services, the dependency is enormous.
With an audit-proof archive and a powerful DMS/ECM solution in the background, which archives data transparently from Outlook, SharePoint and the like, for example, companies have a fail-safe alternative and have full access to business-critical information and processes even during downtimes of important cloud services.
In addition, archiving and versioning data with modern WORM technologies provides secure protection against encryption and also structures it clearly.
“People who work flexibly remotely, from home or in the office rightly expect the same level of convenience and security at all locations. In our definition of the digital workplace, security aspects are therefore just as relevant as the creation of user-centric software. Our focus is on both areas,” says Marco Kessler, Head of Customer Success & Solutions Management at the dataglobal Group.
Interested parties, customers and partners will find dataglobal in hall 6, booth 6-213.
In addition to the e-mail security solution eXpurgate and the SoSafe awareness training courses, the windream document management system (DMS) will also be presented there.
The dataglobal Group will be accompanied by its long-standing partner Hellmich IT Security.
Appointments for expert talks can be made here or free tickets can be requested.
