vykon joins dataglobal Group

Heilbronn/Munich, May 6, 2024 – Since April 18, 2024. vykon GmbH & Co. KG from Grünwald near Munich, developer and distributor of software for resource, personnel and social management, is part of the dataglobal Group (Heilbronn). The group of companies stands for software solutions and services for the digital workplace in the DACH region and beyond. The merger promises to expand the product portfolio and open up new markets.

The focus is on content services (document management and enterprise content management), business process management and e-mail security. The software solutions enable people to work together in a mobile, simple and secure way.

The inclusion of vykon in the group of companies is obvious: the company from Grünwald near Munich expands the dataglobal Group’s product range with solutions for economical working and resource management.

vykon responds to growth in recent years

From vykon’s point of view, joining the dataglobal Group makes it possible to respond to the increasing requirements resulting from the rapid growth of recent years: “We have grown quickly and need appropriate structures to be able to meet demand and continue to offer our customers the best possible products and services. The merger was therefore a logical step for us,” says Holger von Chossy, one of the two managing directors of vykon. “The complementary portfolios based around workplace management and our shared target groups also made the decision very easy for us.”

Software solutions based on Microsoft 365

A special feature of vysoft is the simple integration into Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams. Solutions for desk sharing, room and resource bookings, fleet and parking lot management are easily integrated into Microsoft SharePoint (online or on-premises). Customers benefit from the rapid commissioning and user-friendly operation of the software: “No training or lengthy implementation processes are necessary – users can use the solution immediately and familiarize themselves intuitively in an environment with which they are familiar,” says Holger von Chossy.

This feature is fully in line with the dataglobal Group’s goal of distributing business software that fits perfectly into the customer’s infrastructure and requires little or no training for employees. The seamless integration of vysoft into the Microsoft 365 infrastructure also creates a very high security standard because no additional infrastructure components are required.

Opening up new markets

With vykon on board, the dataglobal Group intends to gain a stronger foothold in the international market in the future. In addition to the DACH region, the company also has customers in France, Spain, the UK, Canada and the USA, among others. Compared to more complex solutions such as an ECM system, vysoft offers corresponding advantages here. “As easy-to-use, multilingual software with a comparatively low initial investment, we also appeal more easily to new international customers,” explains Laurent Wicht, Managing Director of vykon. “The reason: a project with our software can be implemented quickly and the customer doesn’t take any major risks.”
